Should We Forget Getting Together ?

Daughter and her partner were due to come down late Friday.
They've received notification that they were in contact with a covid case on Saturday (probably at airport or on plane), followed by message that someone in their holiday group has tested positive. Last contact on Friday.
So far they are both ok. What is current data on incubation period?

No legal requirements now- about 10 days incubation from start of symptoms, but can test again around days 5,6.

There's no advice, I can find, if they have no symptoms themselves.

Fingers crossed no symptoms. I'd heard incubation figures of as little as 4 days.
