Thank you very much for asking, LadyCG. It's all rather a puzzle. She at home and feeling much better, but it turns out that her actual enzyme level was even higher that I thought - at 1,400.
All the scans showed no lumps, polyps. nor anything unusual on her liver or anything else they checked - and I think they checked almost everything. So that is a huge relief.
They telephoned to say that they had ruled out Hepatitis A and B, so it was unlikely that she has/had hepatitis E. We should, hopefully, discover more on Tuesday. Meanwhile she's been working from home, she's an I.F.A. and trying to take things easy.coming down
I'll feel a lot happier if they can tell us that those levels are down.
