New Years Eve Allergy

Is anyone else out there allergic to New Years Eve? Every time I have given in to the persuasions of friends and stayed up to see the New Year in (it doesn't matter if I am in or out) I get palpitations, the sweats, the shakes and nausea before the chimes of midnight. I can't drink alcohol as i feel too sick and can't seem to get drunk enough to forget about it. Am i alone in this weird allergy?

sounds like an anxiety attack. Something bad happened in the past on New Years eve? Try celebrating hogmanay instead this year, perhaps you'll fool your subconcious
