I would reckon, if you are going with friends, age is of little importance. Had you been going solo, it might be a little more difficult to mix in with the young (18s) night-life scene but, hey, there's so much else to do and see on such a holiday.
If you find mixing with young people having a good time partying is enjoyable, then go along.
If that's not your idea of fun you can still go and explore in daylight, and stay out the clubland areas at night.
Most important is to choose a hotel that is not going to be disturbed by late-night returners, who tend to be less than considerate to sleeping guests.
I agree with Andy. Find a hotel away from the village Don't go alone. I'm sure plenty of young minded 30 year olds would fit in to the night life scene if its their thing and who will even know your age or care. They'll probably all be drunk. If you don't like there are plenty of other places to visit on the Island.
Disgusting place.
Mind you I will say this:
I went to a cashpoint there once and as I was leaving a young lady tapped me on the shoulder to point out that I had left my money in the machine.
