I Wonder Why This Number Is Rising So...

What is the dumbest/daftest thing you have ever done? I got thrown off a train by the police, 5 miles out of Chicago with Mr Sunflower for doing something I cannot say. Was rude (use your imagination). I once dated a ski instructor who thought it a great wheeze to give me a piggy back down a red run. Him on skis. In the dark. Oh yes them were the days. I stupidly hitch hiked alone many a time when I lived in France in my twenties. Just plain bloody daft. We live and learn! Any others, Abers?

Don't know about Chicago but the classic British story is the couple on a train, coupling - but only thrown off because they had a cigarette afterwards. Happened about 10 years ago.
I thought that was a victoria wood joke? (the train couple smoking one) well its in one of her shows anyway. perhaps she got it from a real story...
talking of trains, i was carrying very heavy luggage and was about to go on a long train journey home, when i met some friends who were driving back to my home town in a day or two. there was no room to give me a lift but they offered to take my heavy bags in the boot so i could have a leisurely train journey home. i put my bags in the boot and set off on my train... I arrived home only to realise my house keys were in one of the bags in their boot...
it is true story, I remember reading it but quite frankly i think smoking is far more offensive than having sex on a train.
Back to the dumbest thing i have done, it of course involves a lot of vodka and some other sdubstances at the glastonbury festival in lots of sunshine. There were some poor poor chaps dressed up as taps collecting money for water aid. their hats were just like faucet tops. I ran up to them started twisting their heads/hats asking em if I was turning em on. I cringe every time I think about it. Of course i only remembered it the next day when a total stranger came up to me and accused me of hastling the tap people. The state I was in the tap people seemed very surreal.
I agree Goodsoulette, unfortunately the Chicago police did not seem to think so. Scarlett you have to laugh sometimes eh? I find it hard to take anything seriously to this day.Joko your mishap is something I would end up doing. I can remember visiting my parents in Aviemore whilst I was working in Glasgow. I went to get something from their car before I left to go back, popped the keys in my coat and drove.....when I got to my front door 2 hours later there was a note pinned on it saying "your dad wants his keys back." How I laughed........
