Dave, If you have a cold but don't feel too bad, go out and make sure you don't sneeze into someone's drink. If you test positive for Covid, especially if you are as old as Bobbs :-) don't go out, and if I need to explain to you why, then I give up.

But bobbi, you can get an occasional sneeze and a mild headache with Covid. In fact you can get fewer symptoms than that.

Covid is now endemic in this country (and just about every other) and will remain so indefinitely. We will all be exposed to it regularly. It is no more or less dangerous than any one of the many other respiratory diseases which are also endemic and can display the same symptoms. You cannot test for any of them and it simply makes no sense to test for Covid.

True - tell him to make it explode or send a text to it that he, B, has been identified with a new, Mongolian variant of Covid that is immediately transferable to the phone user, as he B has used it -and that the device should be handed into the Milano Gardia toute suite to minimise infection.
toute suite translates to 'di più' in Italian....

I thought you would chastise me for what I said Bobbs but you've given me a BA. Cheers.
I heard about Queen Camilla being positive after thinking she had a cold and testing positive. Thought I had better test and yes I am positive too.Do I need to notify anyone?
//Do I need to notify anyone?//

What makes you think you do, margobo?
the government like to be notified, margobo, but I found I couldn't. The phone number they gave provided an endless list of options and suboptions, none of which seemed to be "report test result". The only alternative was to report online, which requires a mobile phone, which I don't have. So I didn't.
You can only report the result of a free lateral flow test. Any that you have paid for cannot be reported. Quite why the NHS wants to know is a little hard to understand.
it was a free one.
