I Am 5'6 And 22 Years Old. My Height Really Upsets Me And I Need Help Getting Taller
25 Answers
All my life I have been short and it really upsets me because people have always treated me very poorly because of it. This has greatly effected me mentally and I have no reason to believe that it will get better when I'm older. I'm not happy being 5'6 and never will.
I'm looking for methods to grow taller by any means. (Please don't respond saying I should learn to be comfortable with my height or anything like that.)

You had plenty of answers on your last thread on this matter to which you did not respond.

Options, shoes that look like any others but designed cleverly they make you 2-3 inches taller. You can have you leg bones cut and inserts applied. Very very painful. Risk of infection and bone rejection. I would take the shoe lifts option. Alternatively move to China Japan etc where the population are generally smaller.
As has been mentioned by others, you posted the same question 6 weeks ago.
The simple truth is that you CAN'T increase your actual height but you can make yourself look taller through better posture or, say, by wearing built-up shoes.

If you keep worrying about it, it can affect ur height too. Stress and illness have an affect on ur height. Eating enough and healthy and having enough exercise helps you grow. I think it's ur eating habits that keep you short. You have to eat varied to grow (eat alot of different fruits, greens and meat) I also heard sleepin straight with ur legs stretched out makes you grow too.
Don't worry too much about it and just hope for the best because there isn't much you can do about it

I would like someone who knows how to contact the Ed to put this forward please. Threee deleted comments (not one was out of order) A moderator is not being rational. The ED surely will be able to see what has been deleted. If the Ed finds it fair, Then so be it. But this is why there is so much backlash !
I'm so sorry I have a sense of humour, but if people are asking ridiculous questions and not for the first time, it's what you're going to get.

One of the secrets of being happy with life is accepting that which you can not change. It is unlikely that you are treated badly because of your height, although kids do lots of daft things before they learn better. It is one's interpretation that they are not being treated well and that their height is the cause. In the event that you aren't socially accepted it's more likely something else. Maybe your social skills need brushing up. If there is no obvious other reason, and you are certain that you are being mistreated, then you need to talk it over with someone to get to the root cause and get it stopped.
