Just Back From Our Holiday And Have Now Tested Positive For Covid!

How do you know? Just out of interest, why did you test yourself, Tilly? Did you test yourself for any other potentially dangerous infectious disease?

Bit of a “non sequitur” argument, I think. People who spray ammo from guns are clearly out to cause people harm. Those who go out with the sniffles are not. Are you suggesting that anybody with the slightest sign of a cold (which could well be Covid) should not go out (in the same way as someone with a loaded machine gun shouldn't)?

Prudie at 8.26pm - ah yes, I remember those days well, I remember being called a granny killer, selfish and a covidiot amongst other things by the oh so pious for having the temerity to question things such as the unnecessary lockdowns, to point out that paying people to sit on their backsides will come back and bite us in the, um, backside (both of which have proven to be true), questioning the headline numbers posted by certain members because they were posted with no context, because when the context was given it spoilt the impact.

I agree with sqad, who let's face it is in a better position to know what's what than most, in just carrying on as normal, but avoiding people known to be vulnerable. I get fed up with all the hand-wringing and virtue signalling and sob stories too. I don't know how long people want this obsession to continue. Obviously if you're affected by any ailment that could put the vulnerable at risk you avoid the vulnerable, but we can't continue to avoid living normal life indefinitely. Just going to look for my tin hat.

I took the test yesterday because I felt very under the weather. I knew that it was more than just a cold.
We don't have any plans for the coming week, so I won't be spreading germs around but I shall make an effort to take my dog for a walk.
