It would seem My GP'S recommended Pure Cbd oil is working. I am in a better frame of mind and not in so much pain. Wish me luck. I'm also, on his advice adding tumeric to quite a few meals. Yesterday, I didn't take any painkillers!!

What is that, lottie, and where do you get it?
Well, that is good news lottie. :-)
It's cannabis without the buzz, you can buy it anywhere, even Boots

Pureis. And it's damn expensive.

It's worth reading through that site Naomi.
Which of those do you get, lottie?
Question Author
Boots only do the capsules. I've been advised to use the oil where you can adapt your dose to suit. I started on 10mg now find 20mg suitable with perhaps a small boost. Yhe company is extremely helpful.

Naomi, I bought 2 x10mg initially. Next time I shall buy 1 x20mg to last a month and 10mg for small top ups. GP has attended a conference on this recently.

I have been advised by Gp that the Holland and Barratt oils and other oils may still contain nasties in small quantities. The Pureis oil has been medically approved, hence the price!! Holland and Barratt oils did nothing for me.
I've heard about this but I don't know anything about it so haven't a clue what I'm buying or what to do with it - hence I haven't bought it. Your advice is very welcome, Lottie.

I think I ban about a hundred people trying to sell this here every day! :o)
I'm not sure it has been medically approved, or by whom, MissT. Their website makes no such claims
I think most Holland and Barrett supplements are watered down.
Is it just plain turmeric you are using?
I've made turmeric paste in the past using this recipe...maybe I'll try it again...I think it can be made into a tea also.

Do you use it Pasta? What's your experience of it?
Are you talking about cbd oil Naomi? No...but I see various forms of that brand are on special offer on Amazon. So, I may try it.
I had some success with the turmeric...just had to remember to take it!
Reviews are mixed...

My gp told me Barry. It's medically approved for prescription to those who can get it on the NHS, eg MS patients. It's purity is assured.
Thanks Pasta. I'll have a look. What is the Turmeric for?
Question Author
Thanks Pasta. I shall get a couple of those through Amazon!

My doc told me that Holland and Barratt ones are no good and weak.
Thanks Lottie.
Naomi...supposedly turmeric is useful for joint pain. It's been used for both horses and dogs with success.
