unknown (on the understanding that nobody else would know it either, of course)
I would like to choose it myself.

We probably all would missT but that wasn't one of the options in the question.
Unknown I think, but there again ….
Ok. I know. But its what i would want. It nearly happened on 31st October, but here i am still!
I would choose to know, I don't like surprises.
Unknown thanks.

No surprises, Barsel, if you're dead.
I'd like to know, that would give me a chance to get my *** together before it becomes someone else's problem.
If i did know the date of my death, i'd have one hell of a 'leaving do' the day prior to it :-))
I would like to arrange it myself and then get a vet do the deed. Seems other animals are more important than human animals in the Uk!
Ken, hope we're all invited.
I'd want to know how my physical and mental health would go before choosing a date.
I’d just like to drop off my perch suddenly and painlessly, preferably sitting on the sofa watching tv. Or in my sleep.
I dont worry about dying, but I do worry about having to go through a long period of illness and pain. I just wish our laws on euthanisia would change. Im 76 in a few days. and have no wish to get any older in my condition now!
Reminds me of the Short Sci Fi Story "Life Line" by Robert Heinlein. It's about a scientist that builds a machine that can tell you your death date. Read a lot of RH, genius Sci Fi writer.
To answer the question, no I would not like to know.

Thanks for the answers so far. I don't know what my answer would be. There's something to be said for both options.
they have been wondering about this for at least 2000 y

now think of Caesar - if he had known that in HIS senate, that he had mainly appointed, in the house of pompey, in front of Pompey's statue itself, soliders looking on... betrayed and stabbed ....
in what agony of mind would he have lived his life ?" writes Cicero in jesus knows when.

Oh, for goodness sake, PP. Stop showing off!

I would like to know when I am going to die. Then, I could make sure that I've spent all my money before I go.
Tilly, ne sit illigitamato carburundum.
