Ptosis Operation

If you've had the muscle in your eyelid shortened to help with drooping lids please share your experience.
I am having the first one done on Thursday and I'm getting queasy about it. It will be done under local anaesthetic so I will be home the same day.
It's the thought of seeing and hearing what they are doing that is turning me in to a quivering wreck.
Help and advice, please

There are no 'gory' bits, Barry.

You see the patient having an anaesthetic injection and then shots of the operating team from a distance. The only shot of the eyelid being operated lasts for just a fraction of a second, so it's barely noticeable.

If I was having that op, I'd find watching the video very reassuring.

injections? Ugh, I'd be watching it with my eyes closed, which would rather defeat the point.
