Steam coming out of my ears. I am classed as extremely vulnerable and had a Covid jab appointment at lunchtime today. And guess what? They have cancelled it for the second time with only a couple of hours notice and with no explanation whatsoever!!! Why, AGAIN. Can't even find their phone number to find out why. Thanks for letting me sound off here as the dog just doesn't seem interested!!!

All sympathy welcomed. xx

That’s terrible LB ring 111 or if you have the NHS app go on there , I was the opposite , at 76 I thought No, I’ve had enough of them and I have no vulnerability but I was text daily telling me to have it before June 30th as it won’t be offered after that date so I went on Saturday gone to my own practice and had it done
Are the pharmacies still doing it?
Ladybirder, my pleasure ((((xxxx))))

Thank you all. xxx

Bobs my docs aren't doing it.

Naomi it is my local pharmacy that's cancelled on the day for the second time. They are useless. They'd get my prescription from my surgery and put the stuff in a drawer and forget all about it, time and time again. Docs now send the prescription to an outside company who deliver within two days. Really I should have known they'd cock this up again as well.

Thank you Choux. I can feel your hot breath on my cheek (the one on my face).

The only choice I have to the above lot is in central Brighton and there is no chance of me going there. I'd rather not have it.

I'll stew on it for a bit longer before I make a decision.

Jolly good, LB, I would not wish you to think I am a lot shorter than I really am... ;)

LOL Choux. Thank you, needed a laugh.

Bless you Naomi. That'll do me. Only snag is you have to stand in a long queue for up to an hour as I found out last time. Pity I haven't got my wheelchair yet.
Just go and ask for a chair, some waiting might allow you through? Or go at start of play tomorrow? Do you have a Red Cross facility nearby that could loan you a wheelchair in the meantime?

Being classed as extremely vulnerable, you should get a home visit for your jab.

Thank you Choux.

What I have said is the truth. I have just checked the pharmacy's Reviews and they are appalling.

I remember now someone did fetch a chair for me last year and I shared it with the lady behind me and two gentlemen fought each other to be the one who moved it forward as the queue moved up LOL. Everyone was very kind.
