My 86 year old dad has been having hearing problems so he went to ENT for an assessment . He already has 2 NHS hearing aids but they are pretty hopeless. Anyway mum has just phoned to say that the problem is a gromit has got stuck in the eardrum and it will need 2 people to get it out. Dad told them mum and him were going away on holiday on 7th September and he was told he wouldn't get it out before then. He is a bit dreamy he never told them that he was flying to Portugal. Mum is worried the cabin pressure will cause his eardrum to burst with that gromit in. Anyone know? I am really hoping they manage to get away and have their holiday as I live less than 2 miles away. I an needing peace especially from my mother !!!
