Talking Privately On Ab,How Does It Work?

On another post someone seemed to indicate that you can talk"Privately" on AB,is this so, and how does it work?

There are(at least) two ther guys that I would like to help, but on a more one to one private basis.

You can't do it through AB.

What you can do is create a disposable email address and post it on AB so people can email you

But watch out for cliques.  They usually work by telephone though.

If I get a "one off" Hotmail Email address,would that work.My usual emails are either GMail or BT Mail,but for obvious reasons I would not want to give those out here.

That way I could give the persons I mentioned my actual email via Hotmail, and then delete the hotmail one.

Does this make sense,I hope so.

That's all correct Gordon.  It just means that others on here  old contact you too for a while.  But just address your post on here to the person you want to speak to privately.

Well, it seems that HotMail is now called Outlook.

I tried to join it,but it kept asking me to choose so many pictures,to prove I wasn't a robot!

Then(after I had chosen an enail address,and password) it said it didn't recognise them!

I gave up.

Tread carefully NN, no need to give your real email address, just correspond via the new gmail account you create and use it for new friends from here. That way you can close it down should you receive anything undesirable. 

Remember, this is a public forum and anyone could be emailing you.
