If a medication started on 25/12/23, is to be discarded after 28 days - what date is the last day it can be used ?

either yesterday or today - it doesnt really matter.  It wont suddenly stop being effective at midnight

If it's eyedrops it's said because of bacteria that could form. However I once went over the 28 days with my Glaucoma drops (without realising it) and had no ill effect.
