EE does a £10 SIM on pay as you go - phone and ask to change to that. When you know how much data and calls you are using each month you can look for a cheaper deal elsewhere
I agree with bednobs about you being confused. And you say you're not on a contract... So are you Pay as you Go. What are your actual bills? Are you in credit? Just tell them to change the D D to be for whatever you owe each month.
Or sign up with asda, tesco, lebara etc for about £5 pm. Look on Martin lewis site.
My mobile is just a basic one and I'm with EE on a simple pay as you go . No contract. When the amount of credit I have on my mobile is down to a minimal amount EE tell me and I just go onto the site and add whatever I want to. I don't know what kind of a phone Henry has but it would probably be quite simple to cancel the contract by going onto the EE site.
thanks, so even if it's cancel anytime it's still a contract or you wouldn't need to cancel anything with anyone. When I had PAYG you just topped up as and when you needed to and if I didn't want to I wouldn't have to top up at all.
What is slightly worrying is henry's post suggests he may actually be paying £35 a month in total.
