Can Someone Help Please, Light Bulbs.
How it Works4 mins ago
Having had to have an ear irrigation and then a referral to have a Specsavers hearing test, which was done this afternoon, I now have an appointment for next Friday to be measured/fitted with two hearing aids.
The family better watch out as I'll soon be able to hear what they're saying about me 😉

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Where I live, if you want a hearing test and then, probably, a hearing aid, you have to have an ear irrigation which is done at a sister surgery, and then get in touch with your own surgery again, tell them you've had an ear irrigation and ask for a referral for a hearing test.
You then wait for someone to get in touch and make an appointment, again, at a sister surgery, for the hearing test. It was done by an audiologist from Specsavers but is all on the NHS.
I could have gone direct to Specsavers for a hearing test but would have had to buy a private, and costly, hearing aid.
It was a bit long winded but worth it.
