Childhood Sweethearts Reunite After 85...

This shouldn't be too difficult a question, but might still spark debate.
What is your favourite time of the year or season?
Mine has to be summer probably from the 1st of June to 31st of September when we have nice long daylight evening's.
I actually detest Autumn because its a pre cursor to winter. Autumn is dreadful because its when everything is dying and trees are losing their once lovely green leaves.
And winter is just awful, and cold dark and depressing, apart from costing a fortune just to keep warm.
So those are my reasons for loving summer and perhaps spring is a close second because spring is a pre cursor to summer, so things are looking up.
What about you guys
Hazlinny,
I agree.
I think spring is my close 2nd because its merely a start of better things to come which is summer.
For me its a no brainier because winter is so depressing. And autumn is depressing because everything is dying and starts to look grey and dull which is a stark reminder of whats around the corner which is winter.
If I could live somewhere where its summer all year round I would.
I'm quite happy once the new year starts and we've said goodbye to Christmas and the darkest of days.
This month is cold, but it's bright, the bulbs are peeping through already and we have spring and summer ahead of us.
Spring is my favourite, so hopeful and colourful, summer next, warm but busy, winter is good for resting and being slow, and autumn is pretty but cones with sadness and darkness.
Maydup,
I'm curious what you mean by winter is curious but slow, or did I miss read something?
For me winter is anything but slow, as it causes chaos with snow and ice on the roads, and the disruption that causes.
I feel blissful summer evening's sitting out in my back garden the typical slow situation where you can just kick back and leave the working week behind. Nothing comes close.
Compared to having to stay in and watch crap on the tele, and be bored by tea time.
I'd love to know how anyone can find some positive situation from winter 🤔
Canary42,
I tend to be one of those that suffer the January blues, I'm not sure why.
My theory is we just had a nice family holiday over Christmas and in January its like everythings back to normal and we're all back to the daily grind of work.
For me things don't pick up from the dark ashes of winter until April at least.
But I agree with the fact the evenings are slowly getting lighter now.
