I thought these dogs were banned in England and Wales.

Toleration is unfair to other kinder breeds worth their weight in gold.

Just awful, all these attacks by these XL Bully dogs. I know the owners are mostly to blame. I hope something can be done to stop these terrible occurrences  once and for all!

What we should do is starve these dogs for a week then put them in a pit with their owners. Lets see how "friendly" they are then.

People say the owners are to blame but that's not necessarily so.  Dogs of different breeds exhibit different traits.  My border collie, never having seen a sheep in his life, behaved like he was herding sheep.  The dogs in question are innately aggressive and they're dangerous.

They are like guns - lethal in the wrong hands. Should be totally banned.

I think they have to registered & be muzzled & on leash when out in public. Do what you like at home.

The owners are often alleged to be at fault, although this is not always the case. The characteristics displayed by canines of various breeds vary. My border collie, never having seen a sheep in his life, behaved like he was herding sheep. The canines in question are fundamentally violent and they're hazardous.
