Have competed this puzzle but cant understand these solutions:

20a - Anniversary couple keep hotel robes (8) - The answer must be Fortieth, but why? 'keep' is presumably 'fort' and 'hotel' is 'h'?

25a - A page turned over for homework (4). Answer again must be 'prep', which I know means 'homework', but why 'turned over'?

Explanations would be welcome please??

20a tie(couple/join etc) inside fort(keep)+ h(otel), robes means fort h surrounds "tie"

25 per p (page) reversed =prep
