Is it possible to buy cheaper contact lenses online? Someone once told me it's possible but I have not found anything..

Keep looking, there is bound to be some somewhere, everthing else is cheaper online.

Just do a web search under "contact lenses", that's what I do and pages of the sites appear. Generally prices are 30 - 50% cheaper than high street opticians.

Firms which sell contact lenses online tend to quote certain legal requirements (e.g. "We must have a prescription issued within the last 12 months") to convince you that everything is 'above board'. Study of Section 25 of the Opticians Act, 1989, however, shows that these firms are probably operating outside of the law. Poorly fitted contact lenses can cause life-long problems with your eyes. Take care before you buy from online suppliers.

After doing a LOT of research, the cheapest I have found is www.contactlens.co.uk. It is best for me, I wear daily disposables and buy a month at a time. Other sites may be better for different requirements, but give this site a look
