I got to my target weight by attending a slimming class, then I joined a gym, I still eat the same type of foods, but I have put on 3 pounds and 2 inches on bust, waist and hips, this is making me depressed, why is it that I have put on inches because of the gym

also speak to your fitness instructor, I suspect you are using weights that are to heavy, if you use lower weights but do higher reps and more sets that wont build mucle it will tone what you have.

It is due to muscle growth my dear. Most people who start going to the gym experience this after the first few weeks. If you keep to the same exercise routine you will probably see your weight then start to drop off again.
