spectacles re-selling

does anyone know,or have you heard of re-selling your spectacles..i ask because i have a pair which the frames cost me a fortune,and i cant afford to throw/give away....thanx

Why on earth should you throw them away? Just hold onto them and next time your eye prescription changes, get new lens fitted into the old frames. I've done this several times with previous pairs of specs.and never had any problems And if you use specs for driving only, you can perhaps get a spare pair made up to keep in your car. But if you ever have specs which you don't want to use any more, check with your opticians. Ours keep a bin for old specs and they send them off to third world countries where people are too poor either to see an optician or to afford to buy spectacles at all.
