Lip enhancer gloss

Heya - hope everyone's feeling happier today. I certainly am, so thanks for all your kind words! I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried oneof those glosses which are meant to plump up your lips. Do they really work? And if so how long does the effect last for? plus any other info you could think of to tell me. I've looked at a few sites and to be honest they all say the same particularly the Miss Groovy site which seems to have five different glosses with different names which all claim to do basically the same thing! They're quite expensive so want to make sure I won't be wasting my money! : ) xxx

I've tried most of them and to be honest - the only person that will notice is you. They definitely feel fuller and you may notice that they look slightly fuller but it is so subtle that it is hardly worth it.

Also, if your lips are at all chapped or sore, it can be v painful!

Definitely a waste of money in my opinion. I tried the expensive Du Wop one and it was rubbish. Just apply lipliner a little over your natural lipline, and wear shiny lipgloss to create the illusion of a fuller pout.

Glad your feeling better. I havent tried it but my friend used the too faced one and accidentally rubbed it on her cheek and it went red and swollen! dont know if thats a good sign or not!

I've never used one, but they featured one on something like '10 years younger' the other week and they actually confirmed that they had a mild irritant in them which made your lips 'swell' in reaction to it. They reckoned the discomfort was worth it - personally, not too sure about that myself. I'd stick to well applied lip colour/gloss.
