you would have to be bloody well dehydrated to stop crying tears unless you are emotionally dehydrated of course!

As dondieclem said if it was at the point that your body didn't have enough fluid to produce tears I would imagine you would be close to death.

Simple anwser is unlikely but possible, here are some more likely causes:

1) Sjogrens syndrome (an autoimmune disease affecting salivary gland and tear duct tissue)

2) Eye infections, bacterial or viral

3)Blocked lacrimal (tear) ducts
