Waking up
Every now and then when i wake up for what seems to be about 15 seconds i just cannot move my head. Its like i have to really pull it up of the pillow. My eyes are open and i know what going on but i just cannot move my head. Its quite a horrible feeling and when you finally get your head up its such a relief. Does this happen to anyone else or am i just a weirdo ??? If so does anyone know the reason ?

I have this too sometimes, usually when I'm woken suddenly or in the middle of a dream. I wouldn't worry too much - the more you think of it the more likely you'll notice it because of the anxiety. Take a few deep breaths & tell yourself you'll be fine.
You could try googling 'waking paralysis' but try not to worry - (repeating myself now!) :-)
