Putting up the Christmas tree (always on Dec 1st); first day in Spring that I can leave my coat at home; warm cat rubbing round bare legs; the last movement of Holst's St Paul's suite; my little daughter's smile; the housemartins coming back each year; first day of snow; fireworks; cocoa and digestive biscuits - um, I'll stop there, I can see some of you at the back nodding off....
Sitting playing my guitar and singing Caledonia (by dougie maclean) always makes me happy (though it makes me cry as well), a bowl of chicken noddle soup, good clothes, making new friends (so see you all at the convention 22/3/03) and lastly the thought that no matter how bad it gets i have a really good friend to turn to who will support me. Cheers Icecoldin :>)
My doctor telling me at my regular follow up appointments that I am still in remission. Reading bedtime stories to my daughters. Being able to help someone in need. Having something to look forward to.

Reading bedtime stories to my kids.
Xmas is coming and my kids still believe in Santa.
Sitting on a bus watching an infant looking back towards me over its parents shoulder and making faces and playing peekaboo with it.
Hearing the voices of my wife, three daughters and grand-daughter - there's somethng about womens' / girls' voices that really appeals to me. Oh, and right now, looking firward to the new 'Alan Partridge' series, which will help me cope with the end of 'The Office'.
A lovely gin and tonic at the end of the working week, waking up next to Mr Ravenhair and our cat, having two healthy parents who still love each other after 40 years of marriage, starting a new book, lying in bed reading the Sunday papers, turkey sandwiches, champagne and TV on Boxing Day . . . aaaah, I have a nice warm glow now.
Waking up at my leisure on a Saturday morning without the alarm clock radio waking me up, having a lazy saturday afternoon, then ordering and eating my take-a-way every Saturday night, watching DVD's with my partner, drinking copious amounts of wine. From Monday to Friday, when it's time to go home. Taking a bath on a cold night and coming out all warm and cosy with the heating on watching the T.V. wrapped up in my gooney and slippers on!!
Hmmm...hugs from my son, lazy Sunday mornings, meeting new and interesting people, my DVD player, coming home to a warm house on a cold day, a cold beer, and being well rid of my ex (sorry about the last one).
Smell of the pavements rain summer rain, the smell of the rotting leaves in autumn, having breakfast with my fiancee, people being happy to see me, lying in bed in the warm with the rain beating on the windows and cuddles, being ridiculously soppy, seeing butterflies
