Have any ABers had electrolysis to remove unwanted hair? Was it painful? Did it stop the hair from growing back? Did you think it worth the cash? Thanks in advance.

Yes.

If you want it done properly, it has to be on high intensity, so hell yeah!

It depends on the area, and the type of hair, but yes it does tend to grow back so might need a few more appointments to do it again.

To be honest with you, I would go for Lazer. Lazer doesn't tend to work well on light blond hair, but they now starting to use Meladine, to enhance the levels of melanine in the hair, and hence the result.

In either case if you want it gone for good, Pain is very much a necessary evil.

Thought so. Thanks very much for reply.
With the modern advances I would say laser would be the best, however electrolysis doesn't hurt nearly as much these days, and you do get used to it.
Question Author
lady-p, have you had it done?
I have had both ...
Lady-P how much was the laser treatment and how many sessions did you have to have?
Well you are supposed to do a course of three and I only did the first one, but it was about 150 I think. I am intending to return and do a full course later in the year ...
know of someone who is getting laser treatment and all going well so far. Seemingly costing around 70 a session and has to go every 2 months for maximum of 9 treatments. This is just for bikini area. Seems expensive at first but compared to waxing over many years I think it would be worth it. No pain involved at all she says.
