Can anyone tell me what name/term is used to describe the condition where the pigment in skin becomes patchy and a different colour to your normal skin colour? Thanks

My daughter suffers from a skin disease, similar to vitiligo, however her skin itself breaks down and forms a rough almost transparrent surface. Lichen sclerosus, but this is not symmetrical.
