changing pills

i was on Cilest and have just had my 7 day break, i need to start a new pack of pills today but have been given Mercilon to try. is it ok to start this now or do i have to wait? the info leaflet says to take it straight after the last pill but i dont want to be on Cilest another month. hope this makes sense!

You should have started your new pill the day after your old one and not had the 7-day break. You can start your new one today but you will not be protected properly until you have taken a complete pack so you will need to use condoms as well.

Speak to your GP if you are still unsure though.
