who turned the tap on

i think someones just turned the tap on in my nose....have I caught a bug from answerbank?

Possibly - no-one seems up for it just now.I turned on my tap ( nothing to do with noses) at one this morning just to rinse a couple of things and the bloody mixer came of in my hands - water everywhere.I just left it after half an hour of trying to screw it back in.Thank goodness for dads - mine came round for a coffee this morning and had it fixed in a minute.

Hope you feel better soon - I'm just fed up with this poxy weather.It was great fun on Sunday morning but its tedious now and yeah before anyone jumps in and says what do you expect its winter its still the pits.At least got the car out the drive today but ended up covered in snow which went in every conceivable space in my clothes rendering me saturated.

Hi Drisgirl, always welcome for a moan hun..Good 'ol dads, nothing like a mixer tap to pee you of eh? sounds lovely and wintery up there... we had very deep snow in jan. and then it just disappeared...

I must say I had some lovely colleagues from Scotland when I was in casinos, and when I was reading Trainspotting, they were very good with the translation!...and the best sense of humour....

You know what Asci, I started getting a cold on Wed/thurs last week but it disappeared Fri, Sat Sun only to return late Mon.

As pure coincidence over the weekend I was tempaorarily banned from Answerbank so unable to use it coz I posted too many answers too quickly causing their system to think I was spam attack.

As soon as I get back on here my cold comes back.

Coincidence - I think not - Computer virus maybe!

Well Asci its a new day and I still feel cr4p. I was off work yesterday & will take 2day off aswell.

I think Ive only had propper flu once, about 10 years ago, but I think this is the worst cold I can remember having.

They say if you see a �50 note on the ground BUT wud not even want to get out of bed to pick it up, then you have flu - if you pick it up you only have a cold. Well I keep imagining �50 notes outside on the payment to see if Im fit enough to go to work. Not picked any of them up yet though! the test will be if any passers by drop any for real !

Morning Folks, and fellow bug sharers. Well, DMA, you sound quite wretched this morning, i highly recommend

a) lots of afternoon tv and film

b) get some good chilli down you and plenty of garlic

c) Get well soon and work will thank you for not being generous with your bugs....unless of course they're waving �50s in front of you...
