Hair - Genes etc

At 6 months pregnant me and my partner have been trying to decide what sort of hair our daughter will have; I have fair curly hair and so does most of my family, he has fair straight hair and so does most of his family.

My question is does anyone know which gene is more dominant - Curly or Straight?

I have dark curly hair (like my dad) and my sister has blonde straight hair (like my mum) - we both have the same parents so i suppose its just by chance.

My Dad has black curly hair, my Mum has straight fair hair. I have dark brown wavy hair!! I am obviously a mix between the two. My sister has curly brown hair, and my other sister straight blonde. So.... I don't think there is a way of planning these things. Nature seems to take whatever bits it likes, and puts them all together. Then may do something entirely different for the other siblings.
