I have been dealing with a client at work now for over a year. We are the same age and get on very well, and have been on several functions together. We have always light heartedly flirted but more recently i have realised i actually quite like him. He has shown more signs of interest, taking the mickey out of me, telling me more about himself etc, even commenting on my make up matching my clothes! and telling me he thinks i am lovely. Am i reading too much into this or is this just someone being polite and nice?

have you clocked a ring> double check he's not married before going any further, also the work thing is a pain, could look unpofessional if he's a client-depending on what kind of 'client' he is!!

well put it this way you can either ask him out and have closure or you can go on a website and ask other poeple for help who can only confirm what you already know you should do.......

he may just be affectionate to you in a cutsie work way, where he feels comfy towards you..suggest a night out with the other staff and , if everyone else aint up to it say in a joky way well maybe its just you and me then..if he agrees!! Make sure he's not gay!!

I know this might sound negative or silly but it could be that his bored/stressed with his current workload and his just relieving that stress or boredom by just flirting with you - so it may not mean anything. It could be like a little phase he is in. As I said i don't want to be negative - he may change his tune after a while.

I know some guys who have acted this way believe it or not towards female collegues that they don't REALLY like them - just messing with them.

Yeah but you should take evey opportunity that comes your way. Ok, if you're still a bit unsure then don't ask him out. Flirt a bit more and wait until he asks you!
