Facial Toner

Can anyone tell me a really good facial toner which tightens pores and really makes your face feel clean without overdrying skin or making it greasy? I do like a matte complexion but not a dried up face. Thanks x

Hi Linzie. I use a Clarins toner, for dry to normal skin. It's the yellow one they sell and is really nice on the skin. It is around �14 in Boots though but worth every penny and lasts for ages x

That's the one I use too and it's great, I've got dry skin and this doesn't make it oily or drier, isn't stingy and does great job.

ooh, and I forgot to say superdrug have got an offer on Clarins at the mo-had to resist urge to stock up on beauty flash balm the other day!

You can use witch-hazel, combine it with rosewater - both of which you can buy at the chemist and you can add a few drops of your own oils, ie lavander is a great all-rounder, chamomile is good for sensitive skin, rose and frankincense are good for older skins (I use these!!). It's all natural and it smells good.

Hi Linzi, I have skin that can brake out easy into zits, get dry easy and get oily easy.. so it was hard for me also to find a grea toner.. Well Almay makes a great Toner and Cleanser.. It cleans well and doesnt make my face feel like its been striped or anything..Avon also makes I think the best Toner I have ever used... And trust me, Im picky about what I use.. I want to have great skin at 50 haha...
