Night Owls, dilf, that's what we are!, since you ask!
I hope the essay is going well, nannon. Have another coffee, it'll help the mental juices flow.
I never get to bed before 3 or 4 a.m. so I usually have a prowl through AnswerBank to see what is happening.
There is a fox in my garden which keeps turning the security lights on, and its bark/shriek is quite eerie.....
I just hope the neighbour's cat keeps well away from it, as it looks to be a large fox.
Good night, All.

Hallo lindapinda,
The fox isn't a regular visitor, but last week it came with a friend, and they were chasing each other around the garden and making a hell of a racket barking - maybe it was a courting ritual or something.
The white pussycat from next door is the only cat in our Close, so it is rather territorial and thinks it owns all the gardens.
I don't know whether foxes do go for cats - they are canine after all, so they may do. I hope the cat has enough sense to keep out of the way!
Nightie-night.

Sorry, lindapinda, didn't want to worry you! I'm sure the puss will be kept in the house at night anyway,. Also, cats do have a pretty good sense of self-preservation so I'm sure it'll be okay.
What's your white cat's name ?
And what are you doing up and about at 3.15 a.m. you naughty girl!
Have a good weekend, if you're not too tired to enjoy it!
Bye.
