Extra marital affairs

Has anyone got involved with someone who is married? Did it work out/end in tears? I'm interested in hearing about this as I have a friend who might potentially get involved with someone who is married. I'm 99% sure they'll get hurt but my advice won't stop them.

yep, been there...and yes it did end in absolute and total destruction of many hearts..but i still dont regret the experience so advice wont im afraid! good luck!

Yep,I had an affair & it was the most exciting thing ever.Both our marriages were on the rocks before it all started,so the affair just made us make that final step to separate from our spouses.It was a very intense affair,and no-one could have persuaded us to stop what we were doing.The affair continued for about a year after our separations,then fizzled out,I think the excitement had gone.But we remain the best of friends to this day.

I still think affairs are just a road to destruction,and would not go there again,but I am now in a very happy,loving,non-abusive relationship.

Just be there for your friend,as she is going to need you alot,do'nt abandon her because you do'nt agree with what she might do.Good Luck!!

i had an affair with a married man 10 years ago i was not proud of myself as it was something i said i would never do to another woman, but you can not help your feelings, anyway 10 years on we are married with children i think i am an exception because it worked out for me but most of the time affairs just end in heartbreak.
