Differant sized breasts

About 6 months ago I noticed that one breast is bigger then the other. It can only have happened recently, their not sore or anything. I think it's really noticeable and am very aware of it. My friends have said you can see a differance in size but only because their looking for it and probably wouldn't be able to tell if I hadn't said anything. I plan on going to the doctor soon but was woundering if any other ladies had had this problem or could shed some light.

All women's breasts are of differing sizes, just like men's testicles. Nothing to worry about, unless one of them becomes swollen, then a visit to the doctor's is in order. I wouldn't worry about it, and most men wouldn't care anyway.

Ausf-A, thanks but I only worry as this is a recent thing, one has recently got noticably bigger which I just think is a bit disturbing.

blue2. Everyone has one breast larger than the other,likwise the feet. Its usually the left sides that are larger:-)

Doctors advise to get any acute or sudden changes to breasts to be checked. Please do so even if just for your own peace of mind.

Hi blue.. The others are right about one allways being a bit bigger.. but if there is a sudden change and it is much bigger then for sure I would get to the Dr.. Have you gained a bit of weight? Just wondering... A friend of mine gained weight and it only made one breast bigger.. she ended up getting a small implant in the other breast so they could match..And it was good healthy weight she gained .. she was way to skinny before .. so she needed something done.. Hi, I definately agree with the ''see your Doctor'' recommendations and if you have any of these associated symptoms -

1. Change in breast texture -- skin which is red or appears dimpled like an orange.
2. Change in nipple -- becomes flattened or inverted.
3. Breast area becomes itchy over long periods of time. Ointments and creams for rashes give no relief.

Then maybe you should make the visit sooner rather than later.

I think a trip to the Doctors is in order, it's just I'm a bit embarassed to go in and say 'Hi Doc, I think one boob is grown bigger than the other' but I just I'll just have to bite the bullet. If only to put my mind at rest.

Jen, I have unfortuantly have put some weight on recently so hopefully it's as simple as losing it!

Please please please have that checked out by a doctor.

It might be totally harmless, but a friends mother found out she had cancer, after discovering that all of a sudden one of her breast has gotten bigger.

Hi i put on weight a while ago now and 1 of my boobs is bigger than the other, it happens to a lot of women. I had mine checked out and thier was nothing wrong, everyones boobs are not the same size anyway if you are right handed your right boob will always be smaller coz you use that arm more and so on if you are left handed. I now put a what i call them chicken fillet in the right side of my bra. My fella isnt put of by it either. I hope this helps you. So go to the doctor, and if alls ok then go and buy some chicken fillets(thier proper name is Close things breast enhancers) I got mine out of my catalouge you can even go swimming in them, i think they were �25. The only downfall is you get 2 of them and i only needed 1! Ha ha:)
