As a former sufferer (touch wood) I can also verify that it is 'normal' to get them for several days. I used to find sleeping too long or 'lying in' over a weekend was almost certain to trigger an attack. May be you have a case of sleeping too long as well?

Andy

I've had a migraine where I couldn't lay down or walk properly that lasted several days, and also had one, started to get over it, and then get another one two days later, so it does happen. If you get them often your doctor can give you some tablets to get rid of it. I find Migraleve helps a lot, which you can buy over the counter. Also, if you're using a computer a lot you can try getting a screen filter, and changing the refresh frequency to as high as you can. Finally, if you're supposed to wear glasses, make sure you do. Maybe it's just the placebo effect, but I've done these things and my migraines are a lot less frequent.
