I work from home for a charity. I love the freedom it gives me to juggle work and home.

I am due to retire next year but I might keep on working.

All my life I wish I had done something different from doing a boring business and admin course combined with typing! My mother insisted it was the right thing to do and I hated it. However, I have had loads of quite interesting jobs, the best one involving working for an airline and getting to travel.

I wish I had trained to be a vet or at least a vetinerary nurse or done something involving animals.

I work in an office but wished I'd trained to be a midwife or a primary school teacher. I am only 23 but have already been to university and unfortunately do not have the grades needed for either of these courses. If I could go back to school I really would to make sure I got better grades.

I have several companys, car lots, property developement, premium rate lines, and a few other things which pretty much cover all bases and it pays well so I have a fair standard of living and it's varied too so quite enjoyable.

However I always wanted to be a Historian:) Got two good degrees to go in that direction but then certain things got in the way and I never fulfilled my ambition. I do however write and am currently working on a historical book, so I've sort of got there in a roundabout way.

i work for a mental health crisis team... something i always said i couldnt do but i enjoy it alot.

if i could do anything now i would love to be a skydive instuctor

when i was younger i wanted to be an accountant....sad eh!!!

I'm a Financial Negotiator and I think the limits you set yourself will determine what you achieve, not just financial but relationships and health. In the main I love my job, I get to travel around (not always very nice places) and basically haggle with different people. Life is cool, I love it.

I work for BT in an office job, which I really enjoy - I am very lucky. I also write part time for specialist (drums and guitars) music magazines, as well as general music, TV and women's magazines.

Ideally I'd earn enough to do that full time, and in a totalluy ideal wold, it would give me two or three days off a week to go hot air ballooning. Only been once, evelen years ago, but I can see why people can be obsessed by it, and want to do nothing else.

I was a Research Scientist before I became a full time mum, and that's the best job I could ever imagine. I did want to work with animals or be a vet when I was younger, but at puberty, I developed a severe allergy to animals, so that knocked that idea on the head!

I'm a Train Driver {no i did'nt want to be one when i grew older}.

Always fancied the idea of 1, Being a Detective. 2, Being a Lawyer.

I am retired but but have done a variety of jobs during my working life . Mostly in retail of some sort. I have also done menial jobs like cleaning and waitressing.My biggest regret was not going to University .I have managed to get an OU degree though of which I am quite proud !
If I could have my time over again I would love to be an archaeologist or historian.
Growing up I wanted to be a nurse and used to a member of the SJAB as a child but when it came to the crunch found I was to squeamish !

When i was little I wanted to be a nurse, a vet, a teacher or a wildlife photographer. I now work in an admin role, but I am very lucky that i am able to adapt the role to suit what I want to do and I work closely with social services, mental health teams, the police, etc.

I think my ideal job would be running a little country village pub with my husband ;-)

I work in Logistics - mainly office based

I would love to be a professional sportsman - great way to earn a living in my eyes

I wanted to be either a pro golfer or footballer - not quite good enough to make the grade unfortunately

I would love to be an injury free footballer scooping over 120k per week in Spain (not UK with all its tax burden). But, I guess it is too late for that now. I'll make do with my current legal profession....>,@

I am working as a database administrator/programmer.
I like my job, however, if I could have a total career change, I'd pick something more artistic. Just no idea what!

I ended up as a florist but now I am a stay-at-home-mum.

When I was younger I wanted to be a policewoman. At 5'2" I was considered too short, but of course nowadays it isn't considered a problem. I now have the option of becoming a mature student at college, but have no idea as to what to do ~ everything looks interesting!

im a trainer for women, giving them the confidence to get out of their homes, their kids, abusive relationships etc..very fulfilling but id have like to have worked in forensics...i love to watch autopsies and true detective stuff on TV. id also like to have been a pole dancer!! hehe

If i could have my time over again, i would train to be a Midwife. That is my dream job but then again, don't know if i could handle it when things went wrong. I'd love to be a private detective aswell. That would be interesting!

lol...i would dearly love to work in the film industry....in the more adult orientated area though..however i dont feel i have the...ummm...build shall we say..lol, oh well back to the forklift !!
