Can't read a book by it's cover

After reading Confused post about Emo's I was wondering if anyone here has ever judged any person(s) by their appearence or social "Tag"

I was meant to be meeting some friends in a pub in leicester which turned out to be a "Goth" Pub. None of my friends were in there and I walked in to a huge group of leathered up, tattoo'd, moheekaned (spelling sux) people. I absolutely shat myself, a group broke off and was coming towards me, and my life flashed before my eyes. Next thing I knew they had offered me a drink and a piece of birthday cake - I was totally dumbstruck, but when I got over the shock I had a piece of cake and a chat before I rang my friends and moved on. Great people.

It made me realise that you can't judge a person by how they look/dress.

Anyone got a similar story?
