Is it possible for a womans vagina to widen, other than through the event of giving birth? If possible, how many times wider can the female vagina expand to on average?

10-15cm is the length though, surely? It lengthens during arousal. It does not expand widthwise. And the only reason it expands during birth is because the baby is pushing through the birth canal!

Yes it does expand width wise. Just think of some strange sexual practices which I am not going to mention but they just make you think 'ouch!!!'
