I'm slightly prone to bad breath and am constantly having to brush my teeth and use mouthwash to keep me smelling fresh. The problem is I want to go on a small diet. I just need to lose half a stone or something but last time I went on a diet I got really bad breath and I could tell people were trying to stand right in front of me. This all sounds fairly disgusting! But anyway does anyone have any tips on how to avoid bad breath particularly when dieting? Thanks xxx

Sorry for not being able to suggest anything and for probably stating the obvious but have you tried asking your dentist?
Chewing parsley is supposed to help with this
What??? Do you use a tongue scraper? Its amazing how much gunk collects there. You can buy one from any chemist. Chazza's right, parsley is a good neutraliser:-))
drink more water, stay away from spicy food, dont go to long without food. scrap of brush tongue along with teeth at least twice a day, visit dentist regulary and hygenist, sometimes bad breath can be caused by a digestive problem so you could mention it to doc if no joy at dentist. parma violets are supposed to be a natural breath freshner, good luck this is an embarrassing problem hope you can work it out.
