Why do people keep posting mindless drivel and stupid questions in this section? This is a section for people who want serious advice. Not for childrn to come and play in. Please have some consideration.

Alex, where does it say serious questions only?...Watch Question Time if you want serious questions,If you dont like the look of a question then dont read it......I bet you write in to Points of View every week moaning about what`s been on telly that week.

I thought the tacit consent was that 'chat' was ok if it was kept reasonable both in content and extent. So why not keep the number of 'chatty' topics to a minimum and chat happily within them ? Otherwise the whole lot will go the way of all flesh.

This is getting really boring now. If you have a problem with the 'chatty' Q's scroll past them! It's not difficult! I think nearly everyone who posts/answers to these chatty questions has agreed we'd like to see a return of ChatterBank but seeing as that's not about to happen, we can chat here. As was previously mentioned, you only have to look at the amount of replies they receive to see they're not as unpopular as you're suggesting.
