Britney Spears asked for a tattoo in Chinese which meant 'Mysterious'. Unfortunately, after it was done she found out that the literal translation of the chinese text was 'Strange'. Hahahahahaha!! The silly tart!

Some peopel really don't think their tattoos through do they? I haven't got a problem with non Chinese speaking people having a tattoo written in Chinese but you should at least research it!

It makes it sound like she just likes the look of Chinese writing and thought to herself, hummmm what best describes me?

It's like those people who have wallpaper or bedding with Chinese writing on and have it upside down - idiots!

my friend wanted her surname in chinese on her side and went to all the chinese takeaways in the area to get them to write what it was in chinese!!! she trusted them and has had it done but i do kind of hope that they had a sense of humor and have actually given her egg fried rice on her side!!! hehe

I'm getting one done this weekend. I've decided to opt for "You wah sal an' vinegar?" in Chinese.

I already have a giant tattoo of an ar$e on my face, but people rarely notice. Which is nice.

It�s probably an Englishism, jammiedodger. Like the way that chicken tikka massala came about *. Some drunken lout probably walked into a Chinese take-away and said, �I�ll have chips with sweet and sour sauce please.� And the rest, as they say, is history.

* The story goes that chicken tikka and massala sauce were two separate dishes, but English diners would often state that they wanted the chiken tikka, but in a sauce. Hence the two were combined producing a British variation of an asian dish.
