I want to get a tattoo on my belly, the question is, when i fall pregnant, will pregnancy strech and ruin the tattoo?

it is very likely to stretch and then when your tummy goes back to normal be a bit wrinkly! however if you are blessed with elasticy skin you will be fine!

i think its going to be a big work out for when i am preggers if i get this tattoo, what if i lose weight, what would happen to the tattoo then?

hi pipper, I have a tattoo on my tummy about 3 inch below my tummy button. I have had quite a few tattoos but this one was so painful i nearly fainted. Not trying to put you off, just thought you should know it really hurts so you know what to expect. What are you thinking of for a design? If thats not being too nosey

I have a tattoo on my tummy. I have had two babies and it still looks ok. But I do agree with aka pixi, it was the most painful one to have done.x

Hi pipper.. I used to work in a Tattoo shop and I have seen many ladys come in with distroyed tattoos on there belly.. It looked SO BAD.. I have only met one chick that didnt get effected after having a baby... Sure it will be painful.. but thats ok... I would say no to getting it done now, I wouldnt take the chance... the tattoist warned me b4 i had my tattoo on my belly that it would stretch but i went ahead anyway! it didnt hurt a bit neither the one on the bottom of my back hurt like hell though

thankyou all very much for your advice, im still not to sure weather to get it done or not, it will be a small butterfly sat on a rose if i have it done.
