Coincidentally I have spent this evening with a school friend who had a double mastectomy in November 2004, she is doing really well and back at work teaching geography in london, she has nothing but praise for the people at the hospital (forgot which one but it is famous london one) and she is just so glad she is here to help her son thru his GCSEs. She looks healthy and is feeling positive.
Well done to Kylie for her bavery, she's a great woman.
That's great news dot.hawkes. an old friend of mine as cervical cancer (It's not looking very good ) but she keeps smiling .
this may seem a silly thing to say but up until it came out that kylie had breast cancer i didn't check my breasts as much has i should , but i think because it was such a shock it made me more aware.
