the other day i caught my nephew whos 11 masturbating he didnt see me as he had his back to me the thing is i dont no weather to tell his dad (my brother) or his mum or should i just keep it to myself. i no this is normal for boys to be doing but is he to young . thanks samxx

Good grief keep it to yourself. He'll be mortified if you tell anyone. 11 is not really young for that sort of thing, ansd it's perfectly normal and natural for kids to do, so respect his privacy and leave him to it:)

I agree. It is totally normal to masturbate at any age. Funny story (a bit embarassing)..My parents took me to a shrink when I was about 3 years old because I was "tightening up" (they called it). Well, what I was doing and of course didn't even realise what I was doing, was masturbating. Of course it was non-sexual, and I was only doing it because it felt good. I didn't know it was considered a dirty thing to do. I would just rub up against stuff while I was sucking on my thumb. lol

It's sad, but very true. The doctor told my parents to just tell me to stop doing that, and not to bother explaining why. And eventually I knew not to do it infront of people. lol So I started masturbating pretty much after I learned how to walk. Interesting huh?

my mate has been at it since he was 11, also started smoking at 10. He always says "I've got 2 bad habits playing with myself & smoking, I'm a 20 a day man & I smoke like a chimney"

never never embarass the poor lad by telling. he would be mortified. my son is 14 and i just shut off my imagination as to what he does! Hes a normal boy although i would say 11 is fairly young but we are all different. What could his parents possibly benefit from knowing this? leave it alone sam xx

I agree with jules. His parents (let alone him!) would be deeply embarrassed and completely unable to do anything. Do you want them to stop him!!?? Anyway, with respect, it's none of your business.
