Best of luck!
Do some warm-up exercises before you begin any running. About15 to 20 minutes. When the warm-up is complete I always walk the first 100 yards, then a steady trot for 50 yards, building up to a fast walk and a fast run towards the end of my mile distance, which takes me about 15 minutes to complete - I am disabled.
Take a small bottle of water with you and try to run in the countryside, on tracks and footpaths, rather than pavements or hard roads.
Good luck
