Why are some people bing bong and some people normal?

Oh bing bong means mad. Just been out for my lunch and seen this bloke, about 25-26, shout incoherent thing to himself. So why are some people absolutely nuts? And most not?

Maybe he had tourettes syndrome and I'm sure he didnt choose to be that way. But true some people are just completely nuts but if we were all the same it would be very very boring. Unless we were all nuts :-)

Perhaps he has suffered some form of psychiatric trauma (mental/emotional breakdown etc) of which you may know little or nothing about.

Many traumatic events can lead to such behaviour in humans, perhaps he did have a breakdown, perhaps he suffered torture and imprisonment in his own country or was raped as a child. Maybe he was born that way. Who knows? I don't.

Normal is what each individual percieves to be normal, maybe you could define normal, and post back.

i think that the question you have just posted is completely inconsiderate for people who may have any mental/pyschological problems and may read this post.

would you define yourself as normal? many people would say a normal person would have more respect and more sense.

maybe he was talking on a cell phone. many times on the street i see people talking to themselves, then i get noosey and stare, to realise they are talking on a cell phone and not to themselves. the set is in their ears like hearing aid and the speaker on their chest. it's these handless cell phones. oh, technology, i couldn't keep up.

like littlemissx suggests, there are many psychiatric/psychological disorders. Mentally ill people are no longer locked up in wards unless they are deemed to be a danger, which a very low percentage are.
