For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.depends exactly what tablets you take. Malarone will cost you something like that (the NHS don't do it). The good news is you only have to take them a day before and a week after, unlike other ones that need to be taken a week before and a month after - long after your holiday is over, which becomes easy to forget. Lariam may be cheaper but sometimes produces psychotic episodes, I believe. Older anti-malarials seem to work less well as resistance has been building up over the years.
Depending on which malaria tablets you need you can buy some brands here www.chemistdirect.co.uk for a fraction of the price the pharmacy charges. Very quick service too
